The Pershing was a very easy build. A very fun, afternoon project. The parts all fit great and needed little preparation, and the paint/decal scheme was also not very hard to execute. I would certainly recommend! Note: It needs a lot of nose weight!

The kit itself is wonderful, parts require very little filling, fit is exceptional, and the instructions are comprehensive. With a body tube and chutes from Apogee, tube spirals were puttied, fins/cable covers/launch lugs epoxied on, and the rocket was put in primer/sanded all in maybe four hours as the radius/fit of parts is so precise they require no fillings around the edges. I did go with a thicker body tube so I had to build up the base of the nosecone to fit but that was accomplished quickly with Evercoat Rage Gold putty and 3M red spot putty. The build went so fast and was so efficient that I am currently adding rivet and bolt details. Decals look great so you won't need to go with Stickerschock23 as everything is included. If you are interested in building a Pershing, forget looking for the old Estes kit, buy this kit, as it's engineered well and definitely impressive in size.
