The Boyce V-2 Missile 1:25th scale kit has had a complete redesign making it a better build and a better flying model. Some of the new specifications for our improved kit are:
- The Boyce Aerospace V-2 Missile complete model rocket kit is available in 1:25th scale.
- Kit includes a nicely detailed 3D printed fin can, nose cone, 3/16″ launch lugs, precut body and motor tube, Kevlar recovery leader, elastic shock cord and 18" parachute. Waterslide decals are also included.
- All parts are printed in high-strength ABS plastic.
- Unique motor retainer with steering fin detail.
- Measures 22.25" in length.
- Airframe diameter is 2.6".
- Without required nose weight the V-2 weighs 8.8 oz.
- Flies with a 24mm motors (not included).
- The kit comes with step-by-step assembly instructions and tips on preparing the model for painting

The printed parts were well done, well finished. High quality. The stock body tubes provided were oversized which made a smooth fit impossible! I suggest sourcing tubes that fit or modify your design to “fit the tube” you are sourcing. I tried to go through my inventory of tubes- nothing fit any better! This issue colored my perception of a fine kit. Do all your kits have bad fitting tubes?

Top quality 3D parts. Amazing detail. I am learning 3D printing using ABS... and it takes skill and a sophisticated printer. Boyce Aerospace has the skills! Fun build... but still relearning to "paint." Only Tamiya spray lacquer now!!

The Builders kit V-2 is very well done. The printed fins make all the difference as they have the details and textures of the real thing. The Builders kits are the best, and I own 3 of them!

My first order was the purchase of the 1/25 scale V2, 1/14th scale Nike-Hercules, 1/17.5 scale Mercury Redstone. and the 1/46th scale Gemini Titan. I also purchased the 1/30th scale Gemini Capsule. The Additive Manufacturing (3D Printing) is awesome! The instructions appear concise and complete. Haven't had time to start building due to life getting in the way :) The workmanship is beautiful and I can't wait add these to my fleet. Thanks and as soon as "She Who Must Be Obeyed" is condusive, I already have plans for more kits...
