The Boyce Nike Hercules 1:24th kit has had a complete redesign making it a better build and a better flying model. Some of the new specifications for our improved kit are:

• Lighter than the original! Comes in at 4.6 oz before required nose weight and motor. That's almost an ounce lighter!
• The Hercules is an easy-to-assemble 10 piece kit with the booster tubes made into a separate part for easy painting.
• All the parts are now printed at 150 micron resolution in ABS plastic.
• The kit now uses a long BT-50 internal body tube to prevent plastic scorching.
• Length of 19.9 inches and a fin span of 5.65 inches
• Now comes as a complete kit with motor tube, parachute, and waterslide decals!
• Now comes in a sealed bag with cover card for collectors!
• Estimated 650 feet altitude with a D12-5 motor (not included). Can fly to over 1600 feet using 24mm Aerotech composite motors!

Our Nike Hercules is one of our most popular kits because it’s one of the coolest missiles the U.S. Army ever deployed. It was designed to intercept and destroy high-altitude Soviet bombers before they could deliver their nuclear bombs on U.S. cities and military installations. It was deployed around major cities during the late 50’s through the early 80’s. The advent of ICBM’s made the missile obsolete within just a few short years. Our model is a 1:24th scale replica of the Hercules. The kit comes in 10 pieces for easy assembly. Just wet/dry sand and primer the model, paint the parts, then assemble and detail the model.  You’ll have an awesome model to fly and display!
