Our Gemini Titan model showcases incredibly detailed parts such as the cluster motor mount with rear tank bulkhead, engine truss work, turbo-pump detail and screw on engine bell motor retainers. This Builders Kit also includes a detailed interstage with visible first state upper tank dome. Project: Gemini Titan II

I absolutely loved this build! It was fun to and easy to build and gave a great replica. Unfortunately, I could not fly it yet due to a stage two burn ban. I varied from the directions a couple of times. Once was when I was wrapping the wrapping the lower stage. I started on the top so that any Issues with the cut would be on the bottom. Worked out great being as how I I cut it about 1/100th too short, It wrapped around the bottom, then there was no issues with the lettering on the top. I wish that I would have used a paper cutter instead of trying to free hand cutting out the lower stage wraps. I do wish that the seams were in the back of the airframe and not on the side. My one and only complaint! And what I love is, when you buy your model the service does not there. They are fantastic at answering questions, and you can order new parts if you end up messing one up. This makes a huge difference when you go to clean them up. And if you have any questions, Alex Boyce is the man! I absolutely love these models. I have bought three so far and I plan on building the full 1/100th collection. Fully recommended by a retired Aerospace machinist!

Very good in the details

The Gemini capsul and service module are printed in fine detail. The graphics provided make the model look like the real thing in a photo! The scale using the BT-80 is my favorite, and it uses two motors in a cluster. The Builders kits are quite nice. I have purchased the V-2 as well as the Dyna-Soar Titan.

GREAT kit, well recommended!

This model was a blast to build. It was my first foray into "builder kit" style models, so I was a little nervous about purchasing it, but that fear quickly dissolved when I received the model parts and saw how well they were printed and how clear and precise the instructions were. The parts you get are all 3d printed in fdm, making them extremely sturdy. I have a little experience with 3d printing and I've seen the good, bad, and **** when it comes to filament printing and all I can say is....these people have their printer dialed in to some outstanding tolerances. I almost couldn't tell they were FDM printed, the detail is so fine. I was extremely impressed. The instruction manual is written for idiots. Which is great, because I am the idiot here! Seriously, it's extremely well thought-out and very easy to follow. Even folks such as myself who might be getting back into this hobby after a long break, and might not have much rocket-making experience under their belt, will find this a fun and only mildly challenging kit. When it comes time to do the wraps, I recommend a couple things. First, make sure your BT-80 tubes were cut EXACTLY the size the instructions list. If they're not, you will find yourself with some trimming to do on the wraps. If you look at my model below, you'll see that the "UNITED STATES" vertical text has the U cut off a little bit. This is because I was off by 1.5mm on my tube cutting and didn't realize it until after I started applying the wrap. If I'd known beforehand, I would have cut the wrap from the bottom so it didn't affect the text. Second, take some time and hit up youtube to look for videos on how to apply vinyl wraps to rockets. It's better to have an idea what you're up against versus going in blind for these. I'd say that the wrap application was the most challenging part of the build, but when all was said and done, I was thrilled to have this model back in the display!
