Take your model kit to the next level with the Boyce Aerospace Hobbies Gemini nose cone—crafted entirely from 3D printed ABS plastic. Your Gemini nose cone is available to fit three different body tube sizes and comes in 3 parts. Your capsule may require additional wet sanding; use 400 grit wet/dry sand paper prior to primer and paint. The capsule/adapter boasts a hollow space to accommodate any additional nose weight your model requires. And, lastly, the shoulder features a built-in recovery system attachment point. Each part is 3D printed and checked for quality before being shipped to you. Once assembled the Gemini nose cone is a perfect addition to your next model.
Boyce Aerospace Hobbies recommends hobbyists under the age of 13 be supervised by an adult at all times.
Another Nice Print!
Another great print. Looking forward to BA to create a fin can so I can put both prints together for a scale Rocket!
I have this model in bt80, 3”, 4” and 7.6” and they are all excellent with superb detail!
GEMINI SPACE CAPSULE FOR BT101 TUBE
I am currently putting it together on a flying model. Looks really neat and looking forward to a flying finished model.
Many, many inaccurate features on this model. Example, there should be no outer stringers on the nose, your stringers on adapter module were painted on in real life so the skin should be smooth, the skin between the crew hatches should be smooth because this was a jettisonable white painted cover for the parachute bridle there are other problems as well.
Still in the process of building and painting, but the detail is going to set it off ( no pun intended )
