This is perfect
Being an owner of a Estes Saturn V (#2157) for close to 20 years, I have to say that the nose cone and fin/shroud system are the most frustrating to deal concerning repairs. I flew it a few times years ago, broke many noses and fin repairs and shelved it. But not anymore because I found this 3D print company. My mighty Saturn V rises again! This nose cone is perfect. Single-piece design, way more detailed, perfect scale and fit. It's nice to get a lot of attention at the launch site from bring this unique rocket back to life. And with the start of Artemis missions, I think model rocketry will boom once again. Thank you Boyce!! Photo - Forget repairing the stock, just get the Boyce!!
Much more durable as well as detailed than the stock counterpart.
Quick and easy to install. No need to construct the tower as with the stock version.
Bought one for my 1/100 Saturn 1B. Worked so well I bought another for my Estes 1/100 Saturn V!
I needed a replacement capsule for the Saturn 1B I built nearly 20 years ago. This was a perfect fit. Looking forward to the 1/100th scale Redstone and Gemini
The “Icing” on My Saturn
This capsule is a perfect replacement for my Estes Saturn V # 1969. It will also fit the new and OOP 1/100 scale Saturn IB's and older OOP 1/100 Little Joe II’s. It has excellent detailing. It only needed some light sanding to fit in the SM. In preparation for paint, I had a few small areas on the Launch Escape Motor to sand. After washing with some dish soap and an air dry, I added the needed clay weight that the Saturn required. There was plenty of room for the clay. I sealed the clay in with superglue. The Boyce name is synonymous with quality and service. It arrived quickly and was well packed.
