• The Apollo Abort Capsule Kit was inspired by the original KosRox Apollo pad abort test rocket kit from the 1990’s
• The Boyce Aerospace Hobbies kit is sized at 1/27th scale
• Our kit is 3D-printed ABS plastic  and requires the builder to supply their own paper tubes (one as the motor tube and the other as the main body of the escape tower)
• Waterslide decals and step-by-step instructions included
• Our model flies on an Estes 24mm D12-3 or higher impulse 24mm Aerotech composite motor (not included)
• Flies up to 200 feet
• Capsule and escape tower are recovered separately on their own chutes (not included)
• Assembled model measures approximately 18” tall and 5.5” across its base

Aside from being inspired by and sharing the same scale (1/27th) as the original KosRox Apollo pad abort test rocket kit from the 1990s, the Boyce Aerospace Hobbies Apollo Abort Capsule Kit is unique. The kit is 3D-printed with ABS plastic and requires 2 paper tubes (not included). Our kit is easy to assemble and includes a complete set of waterslide decals and detailed instructions. Using an Estes 24mm D12-3 or higher impulse 24mm Aerotech composite motor, you can expect to see your model soar into the air at 200 feet. The capsule and escape tower are recovered separately on their own chutes. The 18” tall model measures 5.5” across its base and makes a great display or crowd pleaser at any launch.
