Impressive detail on Boyce 1/100 Mercury Redstone Kit

Wow, the detail on this kit is superb! Every model rocketeer should have this scale model for their scale fleet. Combines History and superb detail at this scale. Perfect for youth or entry level NAR competition. Mine just arrived but I'm looking forward to completing and launching. A+

    Little Guy

Just recently purchased this little guy and is absolutely the coolest rocket of its kind. The detail is amazing for its size and the kit comes complete minus paint of course. Can’t wait to get started on it!

Super cool 100th scale Mercury Redstone

This is going to look so cool next to a 100the scale Saturn V. It will clearly illustrate the magnitude of the size of the Saturn V.

    Highly Detailed KIt

I am impressed with the quality and details of this model. The 1/100 scale really puts the size of this into perspective when compared to its successors. I made a change. Instead of using the paperclip for the launch lug, I used 0.025 music wire. I "borrowed" my wife's jewelry pliers to form the lugs. I also used a Sharpie to "paint" the fins. The wrap went on fine. I added a 1/16" matte black pin stripe to the body tube bottom. I am not sure if it will be launched or remain a "shelf queen". This was a fun build.
