Boyce Flip-Out-Fin Unit for BT-101 Tube
Our new Flip-Out-Fin Unit is used for creating two stage BT-101 models that don't have second stage fins. This is a perfect upgrade for making a two stage version of the Estes 1:100 scale Saturn V. Our Flip-Out-Fin Unit is designed for use on scale or experimental rockets that have a BT-101 as a main body tube and that will use a single 24mm second stage motor. The unit is basically a glue in tube coupler that has 4 flip out fins that automatically actuate when your second stage motor ignites and slides off the first stage booster. The fins are activated by replaceable rubber bands and also has replaceable fins. The complete unit weighs 3.2oz and requires no painting.
